I started my Business Management studies in September 1997 as I knew I wanted to study in the United Kingdom, and Royal Holloway had the best structured courses for my needs, and was situated close to London. The University is very internationally orientated which is great as I meet people from various backgrounds everyday, also I can go to other London University courses or use all the libraries that make up the University of London. Anyway, here are some pictures from our beautiful campus, which in fact is the only London University campus that is situated outside central London.

Founders Building

Above is a picture of Founders Building, which consequently is the main building on our campus, with on the left side of the picture are the tennis courts (which you can't see), and on the right side is the rest of the campus (which you can't see either). The campus has about 6000 students and is situated in Egham which is very close to Heathrow Airport, very convenient when you have to travel but not if you don't like the noise airplanes make.

Function at the Union

This is a picture from ours Student's Union where most of the university functions are held. The union has a bit of a reputation for its high class events and motifs, with the main reason for people going being to have a nice time and see their in a more relaxed context, as opposed to studying. NOT! This place is  quite a violent market (meat) where sometimes you find people dressed in clothes that you would never have thought that would have fit in. Sometimes there are functions that are actually worth going to, such as some good gigs and when there are  good visiting DJ's.

General Meeting

This picture is quite funny as it represents a General Meeting that is held every three weeks, and is where all sorts of issues are discussed between members of the executive committee, clubs & societies executives, and anybody who is interested in student union politics.  I thought that it would be a very formal in the way issues were handled, but nope, if people don't like your face they'll throw paper-balls at you and tell you to get out of there, also majority of the people are pissed out of their brains which makes it even more interesting. All in all, the meetings I have attended have been quite good in entertainment value provided.
